Albuquerque International Balloon FiestaEvery October, Albuquerque, New Mexico is host to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. For nine days, the skies are filled with nearly 750 hot-air balloons and over 1,000 pilots from around the globe. It is the largest hot-air balloon fiesta in the world and is considered my many to be one of the most photographed events ever.
In addition to regular ballooning activities, the Balloon Fiesta includes several special events such as Night Magic™ Glow, Balloon Glow®, the weekend and Wednesday mass ascensions and the Special Shape Rodeo and Special Shape Glowdeo™ featuring over 100 uniquely shaped balloons.
