The journey takes you over the canyons and lush forests below as you slowly make your way to the top. Once you arrive, take in the panorama of more than 11,000 miles of the Albuquerque skyline. Check out more than 250 species of native and exotic animals at the Rio Grande Zoo. The Botanic Garden focus on the vegetation of the Mojave Desert, Chihuahua Desert and desert grasslands. At the Albuquerque Aquarium, watch native and tropical fish like jellyfish, trout, stingrays and sharks. Onsite there is a museum featuring authentic history, art and artifacts. There are also rotating exhibits that focus on the works of living traditional and contemporary Native American artists.
