Climate
Santa Fe’s climate is dry, with humidity that can average less than 20%. Average summer temperatures range from the high 80s to low to mid 90s and with over 300 days of sunshine a year, sunscreen and hats are a must. But even during the warmest months, night and mornings can be cool so bring layers. Winter months are cold; between November and April, it not unusual to have six to eight major snowfalls. And at over 7,000 feet above see level, it can take up to two days to adjust to the altitude so keep hydrated and watch your alcohol intake – one drink at 7,000 feet is equal to three at sea level.
