Linda Durham Contemporary Art at 1101 Paseo de Peralta, Santa Fe is excited to present Lucy Maki’s Painterly Architectonics. The exhibition will open on May 15th and run through June 13th. A reception for the artist will be held on Saturday, May 16th from 5 to 7 pm.

Painterly Architectonics is an extension and continuation of a body of work that has fully engaged the artist for decades. Speaking about her work, Linda Durham said, “Her meticulously constructed works seem to reference a deep personal investigation of solid architectural forms.  Those forms have been overlaid with a spontaneous (‘accidentally on purpose’) painting style that can only be called beautiful!”

Lucy Maki has been associated with LDCA for approximately two decades and her work is included in numerous corporate and museum collections.
